Nature & Culture
Nature & Culture
Through this photographic series, I wanted to pay homage to nature, which in many cases was the main source of inspiration of human communication for all culture around the world. So, for this photographic series, I choosed to join a cursive Chinese calligraphy style called 'Caoshu' or 'grass style' to the natural of herbs shapes and their movements in the wind.
Inside each of the photographs, a Coashu style calligraphy is integrated to the grass shadows on the snow cover which is the title of the photograph.
The following list shows the names of the Chinese calligraphers from which I am inspired.
- 王羲之 (Wang Xizhi; Jin Dynasty) (photo : The family)
- 王 升 (Photo Interlacing)
- 王献 之 (Wang Xianzhi; Eastern Jin dynasty) (photo : Visage)
- 徐伯清(photo : Counselling)
- 智永 (Wang Xizhi, 321-379 ou 303-361) (photo : Turbulent)
- 俞和 (Yu He; 1307 - 1382) (photo : Human)
