Mauvaizélève follows an introspective character reclaiming their place in a world that sorts and excludes. Each image, like a living painting, blends stylization, symbolism, and textures to reveal invisible struggles and inner light. In this new season, Kesh, a sensitive clown and doomed artist, and Mme Blind, a truth-teller whose words unsettle, join the story, enriching the narrative universe. All sets, costumes, and props are handmade, creating a space where fiction, memory, and social critique intersect. The series invites viewers to project their own stories and recognize strength in fragility, making photography a tool for gentle resistance, freedom, and introspection.

My name is Florian, though I’m often known by my artistic pseudonym, AbuzOne. I am a French visual artist and photographer. My diverse background — spanning from graffiti to artistic direction at HotSauceStudio — led me to create Mauvaizélève in 2022, a project that fully embodies my artistic vision.

Mauvaizélève is a symbolic and dystopian exploration, as well as a deeply personal journey that challenges societal constraints and celebrates emancipation through imagination. Each season of this evolving photographic series unfolds as a chapter in a larger narrative, where photography, installation, and graphic design intertwine to immerse viewers in a tangible yet dreamlike universe.

Recognized in 2023 with an honorary award at the Annual Photography Awards, I continue my artistic exploration, aiming to inspire others to transcend their own limitations through my multidisciplinary work.
