Halloween 2023

Shot in my studio for the annual halloween celebrations in Australia. The image is an ode to Salem Haunted Happenings which is the biggest celebration of its kind in the world. Pumpkins were sourced from a variety of growers and the other props include an ancient Chinese alter table, a vintage scythe, an old abattoir gate and a pair of racing pigeons. Lighting was tricky due to a power blackout during the shoot and makeshift torches were hung to light the subjects.
